Oren Kramek believes art should be fun— and fun to look at. With background in the visual arts coupled with philosophy and English literature, Kramek’s entertaining approach to art is expressed through his light subject matter and bright, bold colors. He began creating hand-drawn digital works in the 1990’s but switched solely to digital media in 2006 as he preferred the full-bodied look of colors produced. Though considered “fake” painting to some, the artist developed a style embracing the medium with all of it’s “flaws” to establish the form in its own right. – L. King
